Role Description
This part-time Quality Assurance Manager role at Dream Working is based in Abu Dhabi with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for a combination of on-site and work-from-home days.
The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality management processes, standards, and documentation across projects and services.
Responsibilities include planning and executing test strategies, reviewing test cases, monitoring defect tracking, and ensuring that deliverables meet defined quality benchmarks and regulatory requirements.
The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze root causes of issues, drive corrective and preventive actions, and report on quality metrics to leadership.
The Quality Assurance Manager will also mentor team members on quality best practices and support audits and compliance reviews as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality assurance and quality control, including developing and implementing QA frameworks, test plans, and standard operating procedures.
- Strong skills in process analysis, risk assessment, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma or similar).
- Ability to define and track quality metrics, prepare clear QA reports, and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, product, IT) to resolve defects, implement corrective actions, and maintain consistent quality standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document procedures clearly and provide constructive, objective feedback.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, including managing multiple priorities in a part-time, hybrid environment.
- Familiarity with relevant quality standards or regulatory frameworks in the organization’s industry; experience supporting internal or external audits is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; professional QA or quality certifications are a plus.
- Comfort with digital tools and QA-related software (e.g., test management, issue tracking, or workflow systems) and willingness to learn new platforms as needed.
