Role Description

The Quality Assurance Manager is a part-time, hybrid role based in Abu Dhabi, with flexibility to work remotely for part of the week.

This role is responsible for developing and maintaining quality standards for podcast episodes, digital content, and related processes to ensure a consistent, professional audience experience.

Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing recorded episodes, transcripts, and show notes for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand and editorial guidelines; identifying and documenting issues; and coordinating corrective actions with hosts, editors, and contributors.

The Quality Assurance Manager will define and refine checklists and QA workflows, monitor key quality metrics (such as error rates and listener feedback trends), and recommend process improvements.

The role also involves collaborating closely with production, marketing, and guest coordination teams to ensure that content, scheduling, and publication processes run smoothly and align with the organization’s mission and standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in media, digital content, or related fields, with skills in defining standards, building checklists, and monitoring compliance.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability, including reviewing audio, transcripts, and documentation to identify errors, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback to cross-functional team members.
  • Proficiency with basic project management and collaboration tools (e.g., spreadsheets, task trackers, shared drives) and comfort working in a hybrid, partially remote environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a part-time schedule, organize workflows, and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Familiarity with podcast production, digital media workflows, or supply chain topics is an advantage but not required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Quality Management, Business, Communications, or a related discipline) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Commitment to gender equity, inclusion, and the empowerment of professionals from diverse backgrounds in the supply chain industry.
