Qualification

 Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Information Technology,

Engineering) or a related technical field

 Certified by one of the worldwide accredited providers in field

of software testing, such as:

o ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)

o International Software Testing Qualifications Board

(ISTQB)

Domain Knowledge

 Understand how invoices flow from capture to GL posting,

including AP concepts, PO matching, tax rules, and various

payment methods

 Experience in testing of end-to-end invoice processes,

Functional Testing

(UFT)

 Git

 Rest Assured

 Jira

 Qmetry (Jira plugin)

managing realistic test data, and collaboration with IT and

business stakeholders to validate real-world workflows

Technical Knowledge

 Experience in Oracle application framework

 Experience in Procedural Language/Structured Query

Language (“PL/SQL”)

 Experience in Oracle workflows

 Experience in integrated Service-Oriented Architecture

Quality Engineering Practices

 Ability to apply testing/validation during the design and

requirements phase

 Ability to apply implementation of the automated tests by

applying continuous testing practices (incorporating

automated feedback at different stages of the software

development)

 Ability to produce and provide metrics like test coverage,

response times, and defect rates to inform development and

drive quality improvements

 Ability to defined quality gates based on risk tolerance and

business priorities to focus efforts on critical areas

 Ability to define a detailed, risk-based test approach and

strategy for testing across Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS),

including, but not limited to, Test Environment Management,

Test Data Management, Functional and Non-functional

requirements, quality standards, quality metrics, etc.

 Proficient in risk-based test planning, test data management,

and collaborative approaches with developers, QA, and

operations to improve quality and release readiness.

Test Plan & Design

 Ability to convert functional requirements/ACs into risk-based

test plans.

 Reusable test cases (data-driven) with mapping to

requirements (traceability matrix)

 Ability to use Customer Test Management System (Jira

plugin - Qmetry) for test management activities, such as,

however, not limited to test design, test execution, test

reporting, etc.

 Ability to define a detailed Test Plan which shall incorporate

and document the schedule of testing activities to be

undertaken by the parties and which shall include at a

minimum the testing milestones for when testing will be

undertaken Test deliverables, including but not limited to:

o Objective

o Scope

o Test scenarios

o Test scripts

o Test data APIs

o Entry & Exit Criteria’s

o Risks and Issues

o Execution Plan

o Test case traceability to requirements and defect

o Evidence Management

o Defect Management and Triage

Test Data Management

 Ability to create practical test data plan for creating,

managing, and validating test data

 Ability to create test data in an efficient manner considering

data anonymisation, randomness, coverage and re-usability,

integrity and data formats so that tests are reliable, privacy-

minded, and reproducible across environments

Functional Test Execution (Manual + Automation)

 Ability to create automation tests in a test automation

framework compatible with testing of functionalities and

processes developed on Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS)

Platform

 Ability to conduct system integration testing for cross product

integrations by understanding ICD and other technical and

architectural documents.

 Ability to design and implement robust, data-driven

automated API tests to verify API correctness, performance,

and reliability across environments, with clear traceability and

actionable metrics, based on the Solution Architecture and

defined Interface Control Documents (ICD)

 Experience in Contract Testing

 Ability to architect, build, and maintain test automation

framework for testing the implemented solution and end-to-

end invoice processing flows

Test Reporting

 Ability to produce clear and well-organized test reports

containing test results, identified defects, actionable insights,

and traceable metrics during phases for both manual,

automation executions

 Ability to provide test reporting in agreed timeframes locally

for each project deliverable. The reporting will at minimum

include the following status information

o % of tests planned vs. executed

o % of tests passed, failed, blocked, or skipped

o New defects opened this week

o Defects closed/resolved

o Outstanding (open) defects, with severity levels

o Requirements or features covered vs. remaining

o Problems encountered that could impact testing or

delivery

o Risks to project schedule or quality, with mitigation

plans

o Status of test environments (ready, blocked,

degraded, etc.)

o Plan for the following week (tests to be executed,

defects to be retested, etc.)

o Test case execution rate, defect leakage rate, etc.

Defect Management

 Ability to perform troubleshooting, debugging, and diagnose

issues across platforms, reproduce defects, and verify fixes

in a multi-application under test

 Ability to log defects with accurate contents (summary,

impact, steps to reproduce evidence)

 Active ownership during retesting, impact/risk/RCA

investigations.

Quality Gates (entry/exit criteria)

 Ability to define entry/exist criteria for every testing stage by

ensuring early defect identification

Team Engagement

 Ability to effectively participate and contribute to daily

standups, bug triages, refinements, sprint retros, PI planning,

sprint planning etc.

 Ability to raise risks and dependencies early on in SDLC

 Strong collaboration with software engineers, product

owners, agile delivery managers, data engineers, and IT

operations
