QA Engineers will contribute to an AI training and evaluation project by applying software testing expertise.
The work supports AI system improvement through structured testing, data quality assessment, and model evaluation.
The project is open to candidates worldwide and is fully remote; the role type is contractor.
Key responsibilities
- Design and execute test cases to validate outputs against defined requirements.
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Identify, analyze, and document defects and recurring quality issues.
- Review, annotate, and label datasets for AI training and evaluation.
- Maintain clear documentation of test results and findings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data quality and model performance.
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience in software quality assurance or software testing.
- Strong understanding of test case design, test execution, and defect reporting.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written communication skills and English proficiency at B2 level or above.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and follow detailed instructions.
Preferred qualifications
- Data annotation or data labeling experience is preferred.
- Exposure to AI model evaluation or machine learning workflows is preferred.
- Familiarity with reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF) is preferred.
- Prior AI or machine learning experience is not mandatory; strong QA fundamentals are the primary requirement.
