Java and Spring Boot QA Engineer responsible for the quality, reliability, and performance of backend applications and APIs.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute functional, regression, and integration tests.
- Test Java and Spring Boot applications, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts; identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Perform database validation using SQL and support continuous testing in CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with developers and wider teams to improve software quality.
Required skills and experience
- Experience in QA engineering within Java environments and knowledge of Java and Spring Boot applications.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
- Familiarity with JUnit, TestNG, or similar testing frameworks.
- Understanding of SQL, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Experience working in Agile environments and using Git or CI/CD tools.
