Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented
QA Automation Engineer
to join our growing engineering team.
The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of software testing concepts, automation testing tools, and API testing, along with a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
The candidate will work closely with developers, product managers, and senior QA engineers to ensure high-quality software releases across web and multilingual applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining automated test scripts for web and API testing
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing
- Support end-to-end testing of multilingual applications (English/Arabic)
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues clearly
- Collaborate with developers and QA team members to reproduce and resolve defects
- Participate in test planning, test case creation, and execution
- Validate UI alignment, responsiveness, and localization quality
- Work with Git/GitLab for source code and test script management
- Continuously learn and improve testing and automation skills
Required Skills
- 0–2 years of experience in QA or software testing
- Freshers with strong internship/project experience can also be considered
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts and QA methodologies
- Knowledge of any automation testing tool such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
- Basic understanding of API testing using Postman or similar tools
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools
- Understanding of regression and functional testing
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn automation frameworks and modern QA practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field
- Internship or academic project experience in QA/testing
- Exposure to Git or GitLab
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Awareness of multilingual or localization testing is a plus
