Senior Qualified Accountant

• , based in Dubai, to lead client strategy, financial and tax advisory — and to be a senior face of the business on the ground in the UAE.
• This is a role for someone who wants more than a desk.
• You'll be advising founders, building relationships across the Dubai market, and helping shape how GrowFactor grows in the region.

• The role
• As a Senior Accountant you'll have strong practice experience and be fully qualified, with the energy and passion to help business owners.
• You'll map out business strategies, plan finances, review performance against plan, and advise clients on their future and wellbeing.
• GrowFactor goes beyond traditional accountancy.
• Modern accountancy is about far more than bookkeeping, tax returns and receipts in a spreadsheet.
• While we do all of that, our real strength is working with consultants, coaches and entrepreneurial clients on the front end — and that's where you come in, bringing innovation and the ability to think outside the box.
• You'll be part of compliance work — reviewing and checking — but your role will be fundamentally advisory: planning, structuring, and saving clients tax.
• Because we serve clients across the UAE and the UK, you'll also grow into
• UK–UAE cross-border tax planning

• Indicative time allocation:
• 40% consulting / client meetings · 20% business development and market relationships · 20% review of accounts and compliance · 20% team training and client communication.
• You'll naturally enjoy finding solutions and fixing problems, be entrepreneurial, and love dealing with people — without losing the accountancy craft you've trained hard to master.
• You won't be working alone, either: you'll have a Client Service Coordinator and our offshore team working in alignment with you, handling the administration so you have the freedom to focus on clients and growth.

• Key activities
• Tax reviews and planning for both personal and business clients, across UAE and UK matters
• Advisory meetings and strategic goal setting with founders
• Growing into UK–UAE cross-border tax and structuring advice
• Business development — building a corporate network in Dubai, identifying opportunities and following them through (events, social media, referrals, partnerships)
• Working closely with the Directors on strategy and client development within our niche of consultants, coaches and entrepreneurs
• High-level accounting and taxation advice, with specialists where needed
• Final review of compliance documents, tax returns, financial statements, reconciliations and work papers
• Coaching and developing accountants (offshore team)
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
• Assisting Directors with advisory or project work as required
• Building a professional presence and personal brand that enhances both GrowFactor and your own identity in the market

Qualifications

• Fully qualified — ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CA (or overseas equivalent)
• UK training or strong UK accounting/tax knowledge highly valued, given our cross-border work
• Min. 1 year practice experience (ideally 5 years in general or tax accounting)
• Degree-level education (2:1 or equivalent ideal)
