About the Position
The company is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (QS Engineer) to join its technical team.
The successful candidate will support projects across Landscaping, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines, with a strong focus on accurate quantities and contractual documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs from structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, earthworks, and landscaping drawings.
- Prepare, review, and update Bills of Quantities (BOQ) in coordination with engineering and site teams.
- Prepare and manage Variation Orders (VO), including measurement, documentation, and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Verify executed quantities on site and support preparation of interim and final payment documentation.
- Review contract documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure alignment with quantities and BOQ items.
- Maintain organized records of measurements, BOQs, VOs, and related correspondence throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related engineering discipline.
- 5–8 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor / QS Engineer in building or infrastructure projects.
- Strong practical knowledge of:
- Quantity take-off and measurement
- BOQ preparation and review
- Variation Orders and associated documentation
- Ability to read and interpret multi-disciplinary drawings (structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, earthworks, landscaping).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and ability to work within deadlines.
- Valid and transferable Saudi Iqama (mandatory).
