Summary
The role will be responsible for assisting in the execution of corporate finance transactions including ECM, DCM, M&A, project finance, valuations and transaction structuring deals.
The incumbent will support senior staff in completing transactions and will be involved principally in the preparation of financial models as well as client facing work in obtaining source data as required.
Responsibilities
- Assists in preparation of presentations, pitches, reports and transaction advice.
- Carries out reviews of financial statements, prepares cashflow projections and drafts valuations and feasibility studies as required.
- Assists in preparing deliverables for clients.
- Acts within the limits of the powers delegated to the incumbent.
- Responsible for the preparation of advisory reports, valuations, transactional structures and other advisory deliverables in accordance with agreed mandates with clients.
- Assists in maintaining relationships with clients.
- To assist customers in all their queries on Bank's product and seek solution to their requests.
- Maintain activities in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal departments/units to achieve improvements in turn-around time.
- Build and maintain strong/effective relationships with related departments/units to achieve the Group's objectives
- Provide timely/accurate data to external/internal Auditors, Compliance, Financial Control and Risk when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelors and Ideally Masters in Economics, Law, Accounting or similar
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of management.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (including report writing) in English.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management.
- Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Personal integrity and self-management.
- Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills.
- Planning, organizing and analytical ability.
- Knowledge of constructing complex spreadsheets, cash flow models and in working with MS Excel.
