Operations, Quality Control

  • Internal and external communications, as needed for the department functions and process output.
  • Accountable for the quality control of the customer requirements of the company.

Quality Assurance, Health, Safety, Security & Environment

  • Responsible for monitoring, reviewing and implementing the QHSSE programs in AMOS UAE.
  • This includes working closely with the Operations Manager & Regional QHSSE Manager, EMEA, for EMEA-related activities.
  • The responsibilities are as follows:
  • Treat safety and environmental compliance as a top priority.
  • Provide advice on QHSSE matters to the UAE Management Team and QHSSE Team (Regional & Global).
  • Establish customer requirements and produce a quality training program to meet AMOS needs.
  • Maintain an overview of the Management System’s effectiveness and develop an annual management review for AMOS UAE
  • Review and update procedures, processes and relevant documented information for the organization, including creating and updating procedures to continually improve the Management System
  • Manage the continual improvement process for AMOS UAE
  • Manage the external audit schedule for AMOS UAE and liaise with certification bodies for timely external audits.
  • Manage the internal office audit schedule and ensure the allocation of audit resources and timely conduct of internal audits.
  • Responsible for ensuring all employees and details undertaking QHSSE inductions are recorded in training records.
  • Ensure all risk assessments are reviewed and all potential hazards in the workplace, processes, and products are identified in ensuring adherence to local HSE regulations.
  • Ensure all high-risk jobs that requires a permit to work.
  • Ensure regular workplace inspections and audits as per schedule.
  • Conduct incident investigations and preparation of reports.
  • Ensure all audit non-conformances are closed promptly.
  • Analyze and evaluate all audit results to drive continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate and participate in WHSSE campaigns, programs and initiatives.
  • Participate in safety committee meetings.
  • Ensure all QHSSE requirements are carried out with all contractors working in the AMOS UAE facility.
  • Conduct emergency drills and ensure all ERT-related documents are updated.
  • Ensure the facility complies with the local regulations, including certification, licenses and documents are updated.
  • Work on special projects assigned by the head of QHSSE.
  • Maintain the validity of all certifications and accreditations.

Working Experience

  • Knowledge in Rigging & lifting industry.
  • Minimum 5 years of QHSE experience.
  • Auditor certifications for ISO 9001, 14001, 45001.
  • Computer literate to handle MS Office and other basic IT tools.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety
  • Certifications like NEBOSH, IOSH, Auditor certifications are advantageous
