Role Description
This is an on-site contract role for a QC Inspector (Structural/Welding) located in the United Arab Emirates.
The QC Inspector will oversee structural and welding quality, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Daily responsibilities include inspecting and testing welded joints, verifying procedural adherence, preparing inspection reports, and ensuring safety and quality control protocols are maintained on-site.
Collaboration with engineers and construction teams is an integral part of this role for successful project delivery.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in structural inspection and welding inspection methods
- Familiarity with welding standards, codes, and quality assurance processes
- Proven experience with inspection tools and techniques for testing materials and welds
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills for identifying and addressing quality issues
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with engineers and project teams
- Formal certifications like AWS, CWI, CSWIP, or equivalent are highly desirable
- Knowledge of engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Commitment to on-site safety standards and protocols
- Previous experience in the construction or energy industries is a plus
