Job Description
We are urgently looking for a qualified **QC Inspector (Coating)** for a short-term project in Qatar, with the possibility of extension.
The candidate must have solid experience in GCC oil & gas projects and strong expertise in coating inspection and quality control processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspection of surface preparation and coating applications as per project specifications.
- Ensure compliance with international standards and client requirements.
- Review coating procedures, ITPs, and inspection reports.
- Monitor contractor activities and ensure adherence to QA/QC standards.
- Identify non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with project engineers, QA/QC team, and client representatives.
Qualifications
- BGAS Level 1 or 2, or NACE Level 2 certification.
- Minimum **10 years** of total verifiable experience as a Coating Inspector.
- At least **6 years post-certification experience**.
- Minimum **6 years’ experience in GCC**, preferably in oil & gas projects.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of international coating standards (ISO, SSPC, etc.).
- Experience in onshore/offshore oil & gas facilities preferred.
- Valid QID (Qatar ID) and transferable visa preferred.
