Quality control duties
- Conduct and supervise testing of packaging materials, incoming raw materials, and finished products using chemical and physical analysis.
- Release final products according to standards and specifications in the company quality plan.
- Analyze quality trends and suggest improvements to efficiency and compliance.
- Maintain BOM verification, QC inspection, final batch release, and test certificate records.
- Make batch corrections for ongoing production to bring results within desired targets.
- Apply IS-9103 and IS-2645 standards and procedures, and maintain records required for IS licenses.
- Participate in ISO and IS audits and coordinate QC and safety programs.
Equipment and coordination
- Track calibration records and maintain a timely calibration schedule.
- Maintain product specifications and product control curves, reviewing deviations regularly.
- Coordinate with purchasing, logistics, R&D, and marketing to establish quality requirements.
- Follow and improve QC procedures for efficiency.
- Certify final products and standardize, operate, maintain, and validate laboratory equipment and data.
Required skills
- Mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting ability.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and PPE; follow company safety principles.
- Basic math skills, including calculating decimals and percentages.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of concrete admixtures, cement grouts, curing compounds, and accelerators/activators.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and weekends if needed.
Computer skills
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office; Navision is desirable.
Work area
- The position performs testing and laboratory equipment work in the assigned work area.
