QC Analyst - Night Shift

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Analyze incoming raw materials, in-process bulk materials, finished products, and stability samples using physical, chemical, and microbiological methods.
• Conduct specified non-routine analysis and test materials against approved specifications, methods, or protocols.
• Perform microbiological environmental and hygiene monitoring, purified water testing, and PET testing as needed.
• Process and record analysis data in line with data-integrity and cGMP requirements; peer review completed analyses.
• Report and investigate non-conformances under laboratory out-of-specification procedures.
• Train and mentor trainee analysts according to laboratory procedures.
• Take ownership of quality and GMP compliance; raise quality issues and potential solutions with the team leader.

Qualifications and experience

• GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English Language, Maths, and Science.
• A-level or equivalent qualification in a science-based subject.
• Intermediate computer literacy and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• A relevant scientific BSc or equivalent experience is desirable but not mandatory.
