**Role Description This is a full-time, on-site QAQC / Site Engineer role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The QAQC / Site Engineer will oversee day-to-day site activities, ensuring that construction works comply with project specifications, quality standards, and relevant codes.
Responsibilities
include inspecting materials and workmanship, preparing and maintaining quality documentation, and coordinating inspections and tests with consultants and subcontractors.
The role involves monitoring progress against plans, identifying and resolving technical issues, and supporting site teams in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
The QAQC / Site Engineer will collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to maintain safety, quality, and timely delivery
of works.
Qualifications
- Strong on-site experience, with the ability to supervise and coordinate day-to-day construction activities effectively.
- Proficiency in quality control practices, including inspections, testing, documentation, and implementation of QA/QC procedures.
- Background in civil and structural engineering, with practical experience working alongside or as civil engineers on building projects in Dubai.
- Excellent communication skills for clear coordination with project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Familiarity with relevant international and local building codes, standards, and ISO-based quality systems.
- Experience with construction drawings, method statements, ITPs, and as-built documentation.
- Proficiency with basic engineering and construction software (e.g., MS Office, AutoCAD or equivalent) and good report-writing skills.
- UAE construction experience and knowledge of HSE practices on construction sites are advantageous.
- An experience with 4-5 years in QAQC/Site Engineer role is a must.**
