Staunch Trading & Contracting seeks an experienced QA/QC Mechanical Engineer for a project team in Qatar.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and implement QA/QC procedures for mechanical works.
- Inspect mechanical installation and construction activities.
- Review drawings, specifications, ITPs, method statements, and inspection requirements.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, checklists, and quality documentation.
- Coordinate inspections and approvals with construction teams, consultants, and clients.
- Ensure work complies with approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable standards.
- Identify quality issues and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor material inspections and ensure materials meet approved specifications.
- Support testing, commissioning, and final inspections; maintain QA/QC records.
Requirements
- Degree, diploma, or relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least five years of relevant QA/QC Mechanical experience.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical inspection and quality control procedures.
- Familiarity with ITPs, method statements, inspection requests, and quality documentation.
- Construction project experience and Qatar experience are preferred.
- Relevant client or project approvals are advantageous.
- Valid QID and immediate availability are preferred.
Pay
- Pay starts at QAR 6,000 per month.
