Overview

The QA& FS System Compliance Officer will be leading and strengthen Quality Assurance and Food Safety compliance across Agthia sites. The role is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving QMS and FSMS frameworks, including HACCP, GFSI, and ISO standards. The successful candidate will ensure operational processes, documentation, and practices meet internal policies and regulatory requirements while driving audit readiness, risk management, and a strong food safety culture across the organization.

How Will You Make an Impact?

Quality Assurance

• Ensure compliance with QMS, food safety standards, GFSI requirements, and local regulations across all operations.
• Conduct inspections, manage non-conformities and CAPA processes, and support internal/external audits to maintain high quality and food safety standards.
• Drive continuous improvement, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver training to strengthen quality performance and food safety culture.

Food Safety

• Ensure compliance with FSMS standards, including HACCP, ISO 22000, and company food safety requirements across operations.
• Monitor HACCP implementation, CCPs/OPRPs, hygiene practices, sanitation standards, and temperature controls across production, storage, and distribution.
• Conduct inspections and deliver food safety training and awareness programs to strengthen compliance and food safety culture.

Internal & External Audits

• Lead and coordinate internal and external audits across Agthia Group, including GFSI inspections and compliance assessments.
• Conduct facility and vehicle hygiene inspections, including trucks and tankers, to ensure food safety and product protection standards.
• Manage investigations, root cause analysis, CAPA reporting, and follow-up actions to drive compliance and continuous improvement.

Facility Auditing and Hygiene Control

• Support factory audits and hygiene inspections to ensure compliance with food safety, GFSI, QMS, and Agthia standards.

Reporting

• Assist in reviewing quality and safety reports, addressing customer complaints, and escalating potential risks to support compliance and continuous improvement.

Leadership, Coaching & Mentoring

• Support team development by assisting with training sessions and organizing materials related to GFSI, ISO, HACCP, GMP, GWP, and food safety standards.
• Budget Management
• Assist in tracking departmental expenses and analyzing cost performance against budgets to support accurate financial reporting.

Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, Microbiology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications in GFSI,HACCP, GMP, ISO standards, or relevant quality management systems are preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Food Safety, preferably within the food manufacturing or FMCG industry.
• Experience in quality inspections, audits, and implementation of quality management systems, with knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant managerial role is considered an advantage.
• Ability to conduct audits, prepare quality reports, and implement corrective actions.
• Proficiency in using quality and safety management software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
