Role overview
QA tester responsible for software quality and test automation across web and mobile applications.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Conduct API tests and prepare test plans, cases, data, and execution reports.
- Track, document, and retest defects; integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with delivery teams and ensure compliance with quality, security, and banking requirements.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of software QA and test automation experience.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent tools.
- Programming or scripting proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- API testing, SQL, database validation, Agile/Scrum, and STLC knowledge.
- Experience with Jira; familiarity with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD automation.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Banking, financial services, fintech, or digital banking experience.
- Testing experience with banking applications, payment systems, or banking APIs.
- JMeter experience and ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.
