QA - Senior Engineer

Job description

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, maintainable automation frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing.
• Define automation strategies and opportunities to increase test coverage and efficiency.
• Optimize scripts for performance, reliability, and maintainability; review scripts against standards and best practices.
• Mentor team members in automation tools, frameworks, and coding practices.
• Create and maintain test-data setup and teardown routines, reusable step definitions, and utilities.
• Own automation solutions end to end, including framework design, execution stability, CI/CD integration, and results analysis.
• Produce and maintain test documentation and runbooks, including execution steps, troubleshooting guides, and onboarding notes.
• Support defect triage and root cause analysis for automation failures; collaborate with client teams to reduce flaky tests.
• Align automation with business requirements and release timelines; improve CI/CD integration, reporting, and test execution processes.
