Hiring: QA/QC Manager – QatarEnergy EPC / EPIC Buildings Project
Employment Type:** Contractor-Side Quality Management Role
We are seeking an experienced **QA/QC Manager** to lead the quality management function for a major QatarEnergy EPC / EPIC Buildings project in Ras Laffan.
The role is responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining robust QA/QC systems to ensure full compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.
Role Purpose
Lead the development and execution of the Project Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring effective inspection, audit, documentation control, and quality assurance across all project phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and implement Project Quality Management System (QMS)
- Develop and maintain Project Quality Plan
- Prepare QA/QC procedures, ITPs, and inspection plans
- Lead internal and external quality audits and surveillance
- Manage NCRs, corrective and preventive actions
- Coordinate inspections with client, consultant, and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards
- Lead QA/QC Engineers and discipline inspectors
- Review and approve quality documentation for materials and works
- Ensure complete and compliant handover quality dossiers
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mandatory)
15+ years QA/QC experience
Minimum 5 years as QA/QC Manager / QAQC In-Charge (Mandatory)
QMS Lead Auditor certification (IRCA preferred)
EPC / EPIC building and infrastructure project experience
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and industry codes/standards
Experience in NCR, audit, ITP, inspection and handover dossiers
Strong client-facing quality leadership experience
Excellent English communication and leadership skills
