QA/QC Manager

Overview

• The QA/QC Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all quality assurance and control activities for the QXY Project.
• This position requires a strong understanding of construction processes and the ability to ensure compliance with project specifications, Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS), and contract requirements.
• The manager will work closely with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to maintain the highest quality standards in road and infrastructure development.
• Lead and manage QA/QC activities for the QXY Project, ensuring compliance with project specifications and QCS.
• Develop and implement QA/QC plans, procedures, and protocols in line with international standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor construction activities and identify potential quality issues.
• Review and approve contractors' QA/QC plans and ensure their implementation on-site.
• Maintain effective communication with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure the timely delivery of quality materials and equipment.
• Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement preventive measures.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive QA/QC reports, including non-conformance reports and corrective action plans.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices in QA/QC.
• Provide training and support to project teams and contractors on QA/QC processes and requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in QA/QC management, with a proven track record in construction projects.
• In-depth knowledge of Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS) and international quality standards.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using QA/QC software and tools for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Familiarity with construction processes and best practices in road and infrastructure development.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
