Role Description

QA/QC Manager

• to oversee
• our roads, bridges, and infrastructure projects.
• The role focuses on establishing, implementing, and monitoring the project quality management system to ensure that all construction activities meet the required quality standards and comply with local authority regulations, including DMT, ADM, and TAQA WS.
• The QA/QC Manager will be responsible for managing the QA/QC team, ensuring compliance with approved specifications, ITPs, and Client and ADQCC requirements, coordinating with consultants and authorities, managing audits and NCRs, and supporting the successful delivery of high-quality infrastructure works.
• Key and responsibilities:
• Quality Management & Planning: Establishing and implementing the Project Quality Management System, including PQP, Method Statements, and ITPs, in compliance with contract and local authority requirements.
• QA/QC Team Leadership & Site Oversight: Leading and supervising QA/QC Engineers and Inspectors and overseeing site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Material Approval & Testing: Reviewing and approving material submittals in accordance with ASTM, BS, and ADQCC, and ensuring all laboratory and site testing is properly planned, witnessed, and documented.
• Non-Conformance Management: Managing the NCR process, including corrective and preventive actions, follow-up, and effective closure.
• Coordination with Authorities & Consultants: Acting as the main point of contact for WIRs, inspections, audits, and approvals with consultants, clients, and relevant authorities.
• Audits, Compliance & Documentation: Managing internal and external quality audits, ensuring compliance with Abu Dhabi regulations, and maintaining accurate quality records for final handover and as-built documentation.
• Project Close-Out & Handover: Ensuring all QA/QC close-out activities are completed in line with contractual and authority requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of QA/QC experience in
• roads, infrastructure, and bridges projects
• .
• ISO 9001:2015 certification is preferred.
