QA/QC Manager

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and improve Quality Management Systems in line with ISO 9001:2000, ISO 9001:2008, and ISO 9001:2015.
• Prepare, implement, and monitor Project Quality Plans under ISO 10005; apply project quality management practices under ISO 10006.
• Review and manage ITPs, method statements, material submittals, and inspection requests.
• Oversee quality control for civil, infrastructure, and architectural finishing works, including concrete, earthworks, structural elements, blockwork, plastering, tiling, painting, and waterproofing.
• Control document revisions, drawing updates, and change management under ISO 10007.
• Coordinate material testing, laboratory activities, calibration, and measurement systems under ISO 10012.
• Conduct and participate in internal and external audits under ISO 19011.
• Manage NCRs, corrective and preventive actions, and monitor close-out effectiveness.
• Coordinate quality matters with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, local authority requirements, and international standards.
• Prepare quality reports, dashboards, and management documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 10 years of experience in QA/QC or QA within civil construction.
• UAE/GCC construction project experience is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2000, ISO 9001:2008, and ISO 9001:2015.
• Strong experience in architectural finishing quality control.
• Excellent knowledge of inspection procedures, construction standards, and testing methods.
• Strong communication, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Experience in villas, high-rise buildings, and mixed-use developments is preferred.

Pay

• AED 1,000–1,001 per month.
