Overview
The Civil Inspector (QA/QC) is responsible for ensuring that all civil construction activities are executed in compliance with ADNOC standards, project specifications, approved drawings, and international codes. The role involves conducting inspections, monitoring site activities, and verifying quality control processes across all civil works for LNG facilities. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct inspections of civil works including excavation, backfilling, foundations, concrete works, structural elements, paving, and underground services. * Ensure all works comply with ADNOC specifications, approved ITPs (Inspection Test Plans), method statements, and project requirements. * Raise, monitor, and close Request for Inspection (RFI) in coordination with contractors and consultants. * Witness and verify material testing (concrete slump test, cube test, soil compaction, etc.). * Check and verify formwork, reinforcement, embedment, and concrete pouring activities prior to approval. * Ensure proper implementation of quality control procedures and report any non-conformities (NCRs). * Review and verify as-built drawings and ensure accuracy with executed works. * Maintain proper documentation and records of inspections, reports, and test results. * Coordinate with construction teams, QA/QC engineers, and third-party inspectors. * Support internal and external audits by providing required QA/QC documentation.
