Role overview

Quality planning and inspections

• Prepare and follow the Project Quality Plan; develop Inspection and Test Plans and review drawings, plans, and work methods.
• Inspect materials and equipment, review certificates and test reports, and check approved specifications and storage.
• Conduct site inspections and witness tests; check construction and installation against approved drawings and methods.
• Coordinate with project teams and support testing, commissioning, and project handover.

Records, audits, and improvement

• Maintain QA/QC records, prepare inspection reports, track quality issues and NCRs, and follow corrective actions through closure.
• Support internal, external, and client audits; comply with applicable ISO standards, client requirements, HSE rules, and quality procedures.
• Identify quality issues and gaps, recommend corrective and preventive actions, and help prevent recurrence.
• Coordinate with project teams, clients, consultants, suppliers, and vendors; report major issues and stop work for serious quality or safety risks when authorized.

Education and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in QA/QC, inspection, or quality control.
• Water and wastewater treatment or EPC project experience is preferred; MEP, civil, or electro-mechanical experience is an advantage.

Technical qualifications

• Knowledge of ISO, AWWA, ASTM, and BS quality standards; experience preparing Project Quality Plans and Inspection and Test Plans.
• Knowledge of material and site inspections, testing, commissioning, NCRs, corrective actions, quality reports, records, and audits.
• ASQ certification, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification, or equivalent is an advantage.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with different teams.
