Overview
We are looking for a QAQC Engineer with civil site and quality assurance experience in piling and shoring works.
The role focuses on compliance, inspection, and reporting for UAE-based foundation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain Quality Control and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for piling and shoring activities.
- Conduct inspections of reinforcement, materials, boreholes, cages, and concrete works in accordance with project requirements.
- Monitor piling operations, including bored piles, CFA piles, sheet piling, secant piles, diaphragm walls, and related foundation works.
- Coordinate material testing, concrete sampling, cube testing, and review test results.
- Prepare, submit, and maintain quality documentation including inspection requests, checklists, test reports, method statements, NCRs, and daily quality reports.
- Ensure all site activities comply with project specifications, consultant requirements, and relevant international standards.
- Identify non-conformances, issue NCRs where required, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Liaise with consultants, clients, and site teams to obtain inspection approvals and ensure smooth project execution.
- Participate in internal quality audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain records and documentation for project handover and quality closeout.
