About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Civil QA/QC Engineer for an initial 6-month contract in Qatar, extendable to 1 year.
The candidate will oversee quality assurance and control for civil/structural works, with a strong focus on proactive identification and liquidation of all outstanding quality items to drive project closeout.
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct site inspections on civil and structural works and prepare detailed Site Inspection Reports
· Raise, track, and close out Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
· Monitor compliance with project quality plans, specifications, and applicable codes/standards
· Manage and facilitate QCDD approval procedures and submissions for civil works
· Develop, update, and maintain QA/QC dashboards for management reporting
· Identify all pending and outstanding quality items; assess actions required to close each item and
develop a structured liquidation plan to proactively resolve and clear them within defined timelines
· Liaise with site teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure timely resolution of quality issues
· Support internal and external audits and quality reviews
· Maintain accurate quality documentation and records
· Provide regular quality performance reports to project management
Qualification & Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory)
· Minimum 8 years of QA/QC experience in civil/infrastructure construction projects
· Hands-on knowledge of QCDD approval procedures for civil works
· Demonstrated experience in backlog identification, punch list management, and proactive closeout of
quality items
· ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification preferred
· Strong knowledge of NCR management, site inspections, and quality dashboards
· Familiarity with international civil/structural codes and standards
Other Requirements
· Currently based in Qatar | Transferable visa | NOC from current employer
· Excellent reporting, documentation, and communication skills
· Immediate availability preferred

NFPA 70, etc.)
· Manage and facilitate QCDD approval procedures and submissions for electrical systems

· Identify all pending and outstanding quality items; assess actions required to close each item and
develop a structured liquidation plan to proactively resolve and clear them within defined timelines
