The Role: QA/QC Electrical Engineer
KBR Saudi Arabia is seeking a QA/QC Electrical Engineer to join its team in Al Jubail. This full-time position involves technical and supervisory responsibilities focused on electrical works, ensuring compliance with international standards and codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor the progress of electrical works, installation, and commissioning across various units.
- Plan and manage the inspection of all electrical works and related activities.
- Oversee testing and commissioning procedures for electrical works.
- Conduct final inspections of completed electrical works prior to client handover.
- Review electrical shop drawings and vendor drawings to ensure compliance with contract documents.
- Assess electrical material submittals for adherence to contract documents.
- Verify electrical specifications and calculations for conformance with contract documents.
- Implement the Electrical Quality Assurance Plan.
- Review as-built drawings for mechanical works, operation and maintenance manuals, and warranties.
- Ensure strict compliance with all safety procedures.
- Promote the reporting of unsafe acts and conditions.
- Adhere to all Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) procedures before and during work activities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in testing and commissioning of electrical works.
- Knowledge of international standards and codes relevant to electrical works.
- A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required for this role.
