QA/QC Assistant

About This Role

Job Summary:

QA/QC Assistant (Electrical) will support the Quality Assurance and Quality Control team in maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with project quality requirements. The role focuses on electrical documentation, including RFI preparation and submission through project systems such as Easy Plant, dossier compilation, and general data entry support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation, submission, and tracking of Request for Inspection (RFI) through Easy Plant or similar systems.

• Maintain and update electrical QA/QC documentation in line with project specifications and standards.

• Support the preparation and compilation of quality dossiers for project handover.

• Perform data entry and ensure proper record-keeping of QA/QC documents.

• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and QA/QC personnel for documentation requirements.

• Ensure all documents are properly filed, traceable, and compliant with project procedures.

• Assist in reviewing inspection reports, checklists, and test records for completeness.

• Identify and report documentation discrepancies or missing information.

• Support audits and inspections by providing required documentation.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering .

• 1 to 3 years of experience in QA/QC documentation within Oil & Gas, construction, or EPC projects.

• Familiarity with QA/QC processes, inspection documentation, and dossier preparation.

• Experience with systems such as Easy Plant or similar document control platforms is preferred.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) .

• Good organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic understanding of electrical installation and testing procedures.

• Knowledge of international standards (IEC, ISO, project specifications).

• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
