Job Summary
Seeking a QA Engineer with at least 3 years of professional experience in software quality assurance and testing.
The candidate ensures quality, reliability, and stability of software applications and AI-enabled solutions through structured testing, defect tracking, validation, and collaboration.
The role includes testing web applications, dashboards, backend services, APIs, databases, and end-to-end system workflows before release and deployment.
Responsibilities
- Review project requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
- Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test checklists.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Test web applications, dashboards, backend services, and REST APIs.
- Validate system workflows, business logic, data accuracy, and application behavior.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or similar tools.
- Validate database records and system data using SQL queries.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution.
- Perform retesting after bug fixes and verify issues are properly resolved.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production release validation.
- Perform testing across browsers, devices, environments, and system configurations where required.
- Verify AI-generated alerts, events, outputs, and system integrations against defined project requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience testing web applications, dashboards, APIs, and backend systems.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
- Good knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Experience using bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira.
- Ability to create clear test cases, test scenarios, bug reports, and testing documentation.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify system inconsistencies and edge cases.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with technical and project teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.
- Experience with API automation testing.
- Familiarity with performance and load testing tools.
- Basic understanding of Linux environments, Docker, and microservices.
- Experience testing AI, Computer Vision, IoT, video analytics, or real-time monitoring systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
- Experience with security testing concepts and basic application security validation.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and technically strong QA Engineer with hands-on experience testing complex software systems.
The candidate should be comfortable working across frontend applications, backend services, APIs, databases, integrations, and AI-enabled system workflows.
