Role Description
We are looking for a QA Engineer / Platform Engineer to ensure software quality, system reliability, and efficient development and deployment processes.
The role involves working closely with software developers, DevOps teams, product teams, and other stakeholders to build reliable systems, improve testing practices, and support scalable technology platforms.
QA Responsibilities
- Designing and executing test plans.
- Developing test cases.
- Performing functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Identifying and documenting software defects.
- Analyzing test results and supporting root cause investigations.
- Improving test coverage and contributing to automated testing and continuous quality improvement.
Platform Responsibilities
- Supporting the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of development and production environments.
- Managing deployment pipelines, infrastructure, monitoring, system reliability, configuration, and platform automation.
- Contributing to CI/CD improvements, system performance, availability, security, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of software testing, quality assurance, system reliability, and software development processes.
- Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of programming or scripting languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, Bash, or similar.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, build processes, and deployment practices.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage.
- Knowledge of containers and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage.
- Understanding of system monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across technical teams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to software quality and system reliability.
- Proactive mindset with an interest in automation, DevOps, platform engineering, and continuous improvement.
