QA Engineer responsibilities
- Review technical requirements, develop test plans and test cases, execute functional and regression tests, and document results.
- Work with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to identify defects, investigate issues, and verify applications against specifications.
- Perform integration and compatibility testing, maintain test documentation, track defects, and recommend improvements to testing procedures.
- Support automated testing, evaluate application performance, and help establish quality standards across the software development lifecycle.
Platform Engineer responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize platforms supporting applications, services, and internal development workflows.
- Manage platform infrastructure, improve deployment processes, support integrations, and enhance reliability and scalability.
- Configure deployment pipelines, monitor platform health, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, manage platform tools, and support cloud environments.
- Contribute to automation, system security, resource optimization, and reliable platform engineering practices.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong understanding of software development principles, system architecture, testing methodologies, and technical troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with test planning, test case development, defect tracking, and quality assurance processes.
- Automated testing frameworks, scripting languages, and debugging tools are an advantage.
- For Platform Engineer roles, operating systems, networking fundamentals, infrastructure management, and system monitoring are beneficial.
- Cloud platforms, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, or infrastructure automation tools are advantageous.
- Knowledge of version control systems, databases, APIs, and application integration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant technical documentation tools; strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
