Role overview
Combined QA and platform engineering role focused on software quality, system reliability, and development and deployment processes.
Works with software developers, DevOps teams, product teams, and other stakeholders to support reliable, scalable technology platforms.
QA responsibilities
- Design and execute test plans and develop test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Identify and document defects, analyze test results, and support root cause investigations.
- Improve test coverage and contribute to automated testing and continuous quality improvement.
Platform responsibilities
- Support design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of development and production environments.
- Manage deployment pipelines, infrastructure, monitoring, reliability, configuration, and platform automation.
- Contribute to CI/CD improvements and system performance, availability, security, and operational efficiency.
Education and technical qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of testing, quality assurance, system reliability, and software development processes.
- Familiarity with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar test automation tools.
- Knowledge of Python, Java, JavaScript, Bash, or similar programming or scripting languages.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, build processes, and deployment practices.
- Cloud platform familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage.
- Docker and Kubernetes knowledge is an advantage.
- Understanding of monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
