Role description
The QA Engineer / Platform Engineer works with software developers, DevOps teams, product teams, and other stakeholders.
The role supports software quality, system reliability, development and deployment processes, and scalable technology platforms.
Quality assurance
- Design and execute test plans and develop test cases; perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Identify and document defects, analyze test results, support root cause investigations, and improve test coverage.
- Contribute to automated testing and continuous quality improvement.
Platform engineering
- Support design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of development and production environments.
- Manage deployment pipelines, infrastructure, monitoring, reliability, configuration, and platform automation.
- Contribute to CI/CD improvements and system performance, availability, security, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of software testing, quality assurance, system reliability, and software development processes.
- Familiarity with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar test automation tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of Python, Java, JavaScript, Bash, or similar programming or scripting languages.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, build processes, and deployment practices.
- AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud familiarity is an advantage; Docker and Kubernetes knowledge is an advantage.
- Understanding of monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, communication, teamwork, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Proactive mindset and interest in automation, DevOps, platform engineering, and continuous improvement.
