QA Engineer role supporting enterprise supply chain, order management, and warehouse management systems.
Focuses on validating complex, distributed integrations rather than only UI or single-service testing.
Works with developers to find issues before production.
Responsibilities
- Design, write, and execute manual and automated test plans for Java services and integration points.
- Test asynchronous messaging workflows, including ordering, delivery guarantees, error handling, and recovery.
- Validate data replication and synchronization, including trail file processing, lag, and conflict resolution.
- Build regression coverage for API, integration, and data-consistency cases.
- Analyze data discrepancies; track and prioritize defects and verify fixes with engineering.
- Maintain production-like test environments and data sets.
Experience and requirements
- 3–5 years of QA or test engineering experience, with meaningful backend or integration testing experience.
- Hands-on message-oriented middleware testing, including queues, topics, consumers, and failure conditions.
- Experience with asynchronous events or messages, including duplicate and out-of-order messages.
- Practical data replication or CDC pipeline testing; Oracle GoldenGate is a bonus.
- Working SQL for cross-database consistency checks; Oracle is preferred.
- API testing tool experience such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
- Version control and collaborative QA/Dev workflow knowledge, including Git.
- TestComplete or similar UI/functional automation experience; ElectronJS familiarity is also requested.
