Role Overview
The QA Engineer will join the Digital team in Doha.
The role ensures quality and reliability across the company's digital product portfolio.
Functions
- Design and maintain test cases, test plans, and test lists for web, mobile, and back-office products.
- Execute manual functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Translate product requirements into effective test coverage with Product Owners and developers.
- Track defects using project management tools such as Monday.com and GitHub.
- Review requirements and provide quality input early in the development cycle.
- Report testing progress, risks, and blockers to stakeholders.
- Improve QA processes and coordinate client or external stakeholder validation sessions when needed.
Requirements
- At least one year of QA or software testing experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing best practices, and the software development lifecycle is required.
- Experience creating structured test cases and documentation is required.
- The role requires managing multiple products and projects and testing different technology stacks.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and English communication skills are required.
- Willingness to travel 75 percent is required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with test automation tools or scripting is desirable.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies is desirable.
- Experience testing iOS and Android applications is desirable.
- A background in or passion for sports technology is desirable.
- Arabic language skills are preferred.
Work Arrangement
- The role is based in Doha and requires in-person work.
- The posting requires willingness to travel 75 percent.
