About This Role
Overview
We’re looking for a detail-oriented QA Analyst & Release Manager to support the delivery of high-quality digital products across multiple platforms.
This role combines hands-on testing with release coordination, ensuring smooth, reliable deployments and a consistent user experience.
You will play a key role throughout the software development lifecycle, working closely with product, engineering, and business teams to maintain quality standards while driving efficiency through automation and AI-enabled tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test strategies, including test plans, scenarios, and cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing across mobile apps, web platforms, kiosks, and internal systems.
- Own and manage release cycles end-to-end, including planning, coordination, validation, and deployment readiness.
- Produce clear and structured documentation, including test artefacts, release notes, and operational runbooks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor release performance and ensure stability post-deployment.
- Leverage AI tools to enhance testing coverage, improve defect analysis, and streamline release workflows.
- Continuously identify opportunities to optimise QA and release processes.
Skills & Experience
- 5–7 years of experience in software testing and/or release management roles.
- Proven experience testing across multiple platforms, including mobile applications, web portals, and enterprise systems.
- Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to produce clear and structured documentation across all stages of testing and release cycles.
- Proactive problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Tools & Technical Expertise
- Work & release tracking: Jira, Azure DevOps (Boards, pipelines, dashboards)
- Test management: TestRail, Zephyr, Xray, Azure Test Plans
- Test automation: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright (web), Appium (mobile), REST Assured (API)
- API testing: Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI
- CI/CD & version control: Git, Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub Actions
- Cross-platform testing: BrowserStack, Sauce Labs
- Performance testing: JMeter, k6, Gatling
- Monitoring & diagnostics: Firebase Crashlytics, App Center, Splunk, Application Insights
- Documentation & collaboration: Confluence, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams
Preferred Profile
- Exposure to automated testing frameworks and CI/CD environments
- Experience working in fast-paced, delivery-focused environments
- Familiarity with modern QA practices and Agile delivery models
- Interest in leveraging AI to optimise QA and release management processes
