Role overview

Contract and salary

• Fixed-term contract for up to 6 months.
• Salary is £43,881.24 per annum; £48,328.79 is achieved after 12 months of successful performance in the role.

Hours and working pattern

• Working hours are 35 hours per week.
• Working pattern is Monday to Friday, hybrid.

About you

• Experience executing system and integration tests.
• In-depth knowledge of industry testing standards and controls.
• Understanding and appreciation of good user experience and the importance of advocating for users.

Role responsibilities

• Coordinate testing analysis, preparation, execution and reporting for assigned projects, including time and cost estimates.
• Develop end-to-end test strategies and plans, using appropriate test phases such as system, integration, performance, acceptance, penetration and disaster recovery testing.
• Create test scenarios, cases, environment specifications and plans, defect approaches, reports and completion reports.
• Ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional specifications and guide stakeholders, including the User Acceptance Testing Team.
• Develop manual and/or automated cases; maintain automated test suites supporting continuous integration and reducing regression defects.
• Execute tests, resolve critical defects and bugs as appropriate, and publish accurate reports, metrics and status updates.
