Job overview
Oversee production quality for aluminum composite panels.
Ensure panels meet applicable requirements for adhesion, coating thickness, fire rating, and structural durability.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect incoming raw materials against supplier specifications.
- Conduct real-time in-process checks and ensure temperature, pressure, and line speed are optimized.
- Perform physical and chemical laboratory tests.
- Ensure products comply with ASTM, EN, or ISO standards, including applicable B/A2 fire-retardancy ratings.
- Analyze causes of bubbling, delamination, oil canning, and other defects, then implement corrective actions.
- Maintain QC reports, Certificates of Analysis, and non-conformance reports for production batches.
Candidate requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, or materials engineering.
- Two to five years of experience in aluminum composite panel, aluminum extrusion, or coil coating industries.
- Proficiency with precision measuring tools such as micrometers, gloss meters, and thickness gauges.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
Workplace
- The role oversees manufacturing production quality and requires in-person inspection, process monitoring, and laboratory testing.
