Roles and responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Python with Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
  • Architect and deploy cloud-native infrastructure and microservices on AWS.
  • Implement serverless functions and event-driven architectures using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and DynamoDB or RDS.
  • Write clean, testable, and efficient code focused on security and performance.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and Product teams to deliver end-to-end features.

Key requirements

  • Strong Python fundamentals with hands-on experience in FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
  • Practical experience with AWS services including Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and SQS/SNS.
  • Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases.
  • Good understanding of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
  • Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful web services.

Nice-to-haves

  • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CDK.
  • Experience with event-driven or microservices architecture.
  • AWS certification such as AWS Certified Developer – Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
