Its R&D and operational base is in Guangdong, with business across China, the CIS, the Middle East, and Asian markets.

Applications include fine fragrance and personal care, home and air care, and specialized oral and tobacco applications.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and develop manufacturers of aroma chemicals, essential oils, solvents, flavors, and other specialty ingredients.
  • Build long-term relationships with Chinese manufacturers and strategic suppliers.
  • Lead negotiations on pricing, payment terms, lead times, and supply conditions.
  • Source aluminum bottles, HDPE containers, labels, and premium sample packaging.
  • Coordinate supplier qualification, documentation, and procurement with R&D.
  • Manage purchasing and domestic supply coordination to company facilities and manufacturing partners.
  • Translate technical and commercial requirements between Russian-speaking colleagues and Chinese suppliers.
  • Represent the company at supplier meetings, factory visits, and industry exhibitions in China.
  • Analyze the Chinese supplier market and identify new sourcing opportunities.

Requirements

  • At least 2–3 years of sourcing, procurement, supply-chain, or foreign-trade experience in China.
  • Chinese language ability and fluent spoken and written CIS-market language ability.
  • Experience in chemicals, fragrance ingredients, cosmetics, food ingredients, or related industries is highly preferred.
  • Strong commercial negotiation skills and confidence dealing directly with manufacturers.
  • Ability to independently research suppliers, compare alternatives, and make recommendations.
  • High attention to documentation and technical details; initiative and ownership are expected.

What the company offers

  • Direct involvement in building an international fragrance company's China supply network.
  • Close collaboration with founders and the senior R&D team, with independence and decision-making responsibility.
  • Exposure to manufacturers and partners across fragrance, chemical, and specialty-ingredient industries.
  • Potential to grow into Head of Procurement or China Procurement Lead as the company expands.
  • Competitive compensation discussed individually.
