Hiring: Purchasing Manager – Papillon Cake (Dubai)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities for raw materials, packaging, equipment, and operational supplies.
• Source new suppliers and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement to avoid production delays.
• Compare quotations and ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions.
• Coordinate with production, operations, and finance departments.
• Prepare and submit monthly purchasing and expense reports to management.
• Analyze company expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure all purchases meet company quality standards and requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of purchasing/procurement experience (food production or bakery industry preferred).
• Experience with Odoo ERP is preferred.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and reporting.
• Ability to prepare accurate monthly expense and procurement reports.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• UAE driving license is an advantage.
