Purchasing Manager

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing of raw materials, packaging, equipment, and operational supplies.
• Source suppliers and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts; maintain supplier relationships.
• Monitor inventory and procure on time to prevent production delays.
• Compare quotations and make cost-effective purchasing decisions.
• Coordinate with production, operations, and finance.
• Submit monthly purchasing and expense reports to management; analyze expenses and identify savings.
• Ensure purchases meet company quality standards.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of purchasing or procurement experience; food production or bakery experience is preferred.
• Odoo ERP experience is preferred.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting knowledge; able to prepare accurate monthly reports.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• UAE driving license is listed as advantageous in the requirements and as required in the license section.

Compensation and benefits

• Pay is AED 4,000–6,000 per month.
