Role overview

Purchasing and supplier responsibilities

• Manage daily purchasing, review requisitions, source suppliers, compare quotations, and negotiate commercial terms.
• Prepare purchase orders and monitor orders through delivery and invoice completion; follow up on supplier timelines and issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, sourcing, vendor management, or a related role.
• Understanding of purchasing processes, supplier management, sourcing, quotation evaluation, and purchase-order procedures.
• Strong negotiation, communication, relationship-management, analytical, numerical, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Able to evaluate quotations, manage multiple orders and deadlines, follow up with suppliers, solve problems, and work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and procurement or ERP systems.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Coupa, Ariba, or similar platforms is advantageous.
• Inventory, logistics, warehousing, supplier evaluation, contract management, spend analysis, and cost-reduction experience are preferred or advantageous.
• A relevant diploma or bachelor's degree is preferred; CIPS, CPSM, CSCP, or equivalent certification is advantageous.
• Maintain confidentiality, integrity, professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail.
