Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Assistant to support the procurement team in sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining supplier relationships and ensuring cost-effective purchasing while adhering to company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotations.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain updated records of invoices and LPOs
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
- Compare prices, specifications, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory planning.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Research potential vendors
- Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or administrative support, preferably in the building materials industry
- Must have valid UAE Driving License
- Candidates must be able to join immediately
- Must be highly computer literate with strong knowledge of computer operations, including Microsoft Office, email and internet research
- Must have experience purchasing or handling building materials
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From AED3,500.00 per month
