Overview

• Source and purchase raw materials such as plastic resins (LD, HD, LLDPE, PE, PP, PET), films and laminates, inks, adhesives, solvents, additives, packaging consumables, spare parts and maintenance items.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations.
• Conduct price negotiations and contract discussions with suppliers.
• Identify alternative suppliers to reduce costs and supply risks.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, cost, and service.
• Resolve supplier-related issues regarding shortages, delays, or quality concerns.
• Support supplier audits and qualification processes.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast material requirements.
• Coordinate with production planning and warehouse teams to ensure material availability.
• Prevent stock shortages and excess inventory.
• Track purchase orders and ensure on-time delivery.
• Analyze market trends and raw material price fluctuations.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Prepare procurement reports and purchasing metrics.
• Monitor procurement budgets and spending.
• Create and manage purchase orders, contracts, and procurement records.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.
• Coordinate import/export documentation when required.
• Maintain accurate procurement data in ERP systems.
