Core Responsibilities
- **Procurement Execution:** Prepare and process purchase orders (POs), request for quotations (RFQs), and maintain accurate vendor databases.
- **Inventory Control:** Monitor stock levels, handle goods receipt and issuance, and oversee proper storage conditions.
- **Supplier Management:** Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery, negotiate competitive pricing, and resolve any delivery discrepancies.
- **Auditing:** Conduct periodic physical stock checks, cycle counts, and report any discrepancies.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Align with internal departments (finance, sales, and operations) to meet material and supply requirements.
Essential Skills
- **Organization & Multitasking:** Ability to track multiple shipments and purchase requests simultaneously.
- **Analytical Mindset:** Proficiency in monitoring stock movement trends and reconciling inventory data.
- **Negotiation & Communication:** Strong relationship-building skills with suppliers to secure the best value for the company.
- **Software Proficiency:** Strong working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and experience using Tally ERP system
