Purchase Officer

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Involve in purchasing the hardware and building construction material and stone/ marbles from local and international suppliers.
• Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, and ensure cost-effective purchasing.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding deliveries, product quality, and material specifications.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure the timely procurement of required materials.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and identify new sourcing opportunities.
• Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement documentation and records.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure procurement requirements are met efficiently.
• Be responsible to maintain the cost control against the subject projects.

Requirements

• Minimum of **4–5 years of proven experience** as a Purchase Officer, preferably within the **Marble, Stone, Construction, or Fit-Out Industry**.
• Strong knowledge of stone/building materials, suppliers, and current market pricing.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in **Microsoft Office Applications**.
• Experience using **Oracle, Odoo, or similar ERP systems** is required.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple purchasing activities.
• Candidates must be graduates of a recognized university.
• Candidates who can **join immediately** will be given preference.
