Purchase Manager / Category Manager (Immediate Joiner) – Dubai

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and grow product categories for a UAE-based marketplace.
• Identify, onboard, negotiate, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, manufacturers, and brands across the UAE.
• Source products across multiple categories while ensuring competitive pricing, product quality, and reliable availability.
• Manage the complete procurement lifecycle, including sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, contract negotiations, inventory planning, and vendor onboarding.
• Build and expand a strong supplier network across the UAE market.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, new products, and business opportunities.
• Develop and manage private label and white-label product opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with sales, operations, marketing, and management teams to maximize category growth, profitability, and performance.
• Regularly visit wholesale markets, supplier locations, and trade hubs to identify new sourcing opportunities and strengthen supplier relationships.

Requirements

• Minimum 4–5 years of UAE experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Category Management, Buying, or Vendor Management.
• Strong network and established relationships with UAE suppliers, distributors, wholesalers, manufacturers, and brands across multiple product categories.
• Excellent understanding of the UAE sourcing ecosystem, including Deira wholesale markets and major trading hubs.
