Purchase Executive / Accountant

Overview

Purchase & Procurement

• Source and negotiate with local and international suppliers.
• Prepare and process purchase orders.
• Coordinate import and export documentation.
• Track shipments and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Compare quotations and obtain the best pricing and terms.
• Maintain supplier records and procurement documentation.
• Coordinate with warehouse and sales teams regarding stock requirements.

Accounting

• Record purchase invoices and supplier bills.
• Reconcile supplier statements and accounts.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Prepare payment schedules and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Experience using accounting/ERP software is preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Minimum **3–5 years of experience** in purchasing/procurement within a trading or import-export company.
• Practical accounting experience is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of import/export procedures and shipping documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Odoo, SAP, Tally, or similar is an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

• UAE experience in trading/import-export companies.
• Knowledge of customs, freight forwarding, and logistics processes.
• Immediate joiners will be preferred.
• Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
